Getting Busy at Documentopia

November 25th, 2010 No comments

Well, its been a while since we did an update to our blog.

Blue Bear Systems Research

Right now, we are working on a complete revamp and design/development overhaul of one of the first websites we designed and developed so expect news about that launch in a month or so.

Earlier this year we did a rush job for a UK client who designs and engineers unmanned vehicles, Blue Bear Systems Research. The website was an overhaul of an existing template site which displayed differently in the many web browsers out there.

As well as a complete new design, we removed all Flash elements to make the site compatible with not only all current browsers but also with mobile devices, like iPhone and Android phones. The site has a home page rotation image that displays the capabilities of the company, a fluid drop down menu and nav bar along with bread crumb navigation for ease of backtracking through your site path. We launched the Blue Bear site in a one-week turn around to be ready for an important client meeting.

Check out the Blue Bear website – one of our latest designs.

Jamboo Creations – New Products

This week we launched a host of new products on the Jamboo Creations website, taking their site from a newly launched one-product information- and sales-site to an e-commerce site with fully functional custom cart system.

Jamboo now offer a line of babyproofing products all of which can be customized in our uniquely designed “build-your-own” cart system, which offers various fabric swatch options and groups for the user to choose from.

SS Airsoft Revamped

And finally, in October, we visited our friends at SS Airsoft and after a walk through of their highly sophisticated indoor airsoft arena and store, we redeveloped the site content to provide a lot more information on the cool things that they have going on.  We took photos and wrote content for an arena tour page after our conversations with the owner and manager, Steve.  The website not only gives potential visitors prices, directions and other basic information, it gives them the whole lay of the land by telling them in advance what they can expect from their experience.  We added a lot more photography to the site as well as a cool photo enlarger on the gallery page.

Check back with us soon for the website we are hunkered down and working on right now – its gonna be cool!
